Privacy Statement
MovingOrders collects only the data necessary to deliver military housing intelligence. We never sell member data. We never share PII with landlords beyond the information members explicitly choose to include in an inquiry. Member verification status is visible to landlords as a badge — the underlying background check result is not.
Geocoordinates are stripped from every API response before delivery to member, guest, or AGENTGATE consumers. Latitude and longitude never appear in any response from the MovingOrders API. This is enforced at the serializer layer and verified by automated tests.
Language selection follows the user — not their location. We use profile preference, browser Accept-Language header, and one-tap confirmation. IP geolocation and installation location are prohibited inputs to language selection.
SCRA Compliance
MovingOrders is designed to support service members' rights under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). We do not require PCS orders for any feature — a locked architectural decision that cannot be changed by any user, admin, or platform update. Self-reported installation, rank, and dependent count are sufficient for full platform access.
The PAUSE feature for dual-military landlords allows unlimited pausing and reactivating of listings between PCS moves with no penalty and no rate change — rate locks are honored forever through unlimited pause/unpause cycles.
Fair Housing
MovingOrders complies with the Fair Housing Act and all applicable state and local fair housing laws. Discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability, or any protected class is prohibited on this platform.
Service Animals — Always Permitted
Every listing on MovingOrders has service animals permitted. This is enforced at the database level as an immutable constraint — CHECK (service_animals_allowed = TRUE) — and no API path may set it to FALSE. This is not a policy; it is a database-enforced architectural guarantee.
Terms of Service (Summary)
MovingOrders is a housing intelligence platform — not a licensed real estate broker. We connect military members with listings and with licensed professionals; we do not represent buyers, sellers, or landlords.
Listing content is provided by listers. MovingOrders applies OPSEC-FILTER to all submitted text before persistence and operates a moderation queue for flagged content. Lister accounts are subject to verification and can be suspended for policy violations.
Member subscription fees: OPERATIVE $4.99/year · COMMAND $9.99/year + CAC · Service member verification $10 one-time (lifetime). Lister fees: SUPPLY_LINE $19/mo (Founding 500 rate locked forever). Payment processing via Stripe through X.R.A.Y. — active November 11, 2026.
